We are looking for experienced Roofers currently residing in Mexico who are interested in relocating to British Columbia, Canada, for full-time employment.We support qualified candidates through the LMIA and work permit process.What You'll Do<ul><li>Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs</li><li>Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools</li><li>Install sheet metal flashings</li><li>Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms</li><li>Instruct apprentices</li><li>Follow company and jobsite safety procedures</li></ul> What You Bring<ul><li>Minimum 3 years of verifiable professional roofing experience</li><li>Completed secondary/high school education</li><li>Valid passport</li><li>Experience installing asphalt shingles on sloped roofs</li><li>Experience installing and repairing metal roofing</li><li>Experience installing sheet metal flashings</li><li>Experience using roofing hand and power tools</li><li>Experience working safely at heights</li><li>Comfortable working with scaffolding and other working platforms</li><li>Physically able to perform roofing work (lifting, bending, kneeling, climbing)</li><li>Able to lift and handle roofing materials of approximately 50 lbs / 23 kg</li><li>Able to work outdoors in different weather conditions</li><li>Able to follow company and jobsite safety procedures</li><li>Sufficient English communication skills to understand work instructions and safety requirements</li><li>Willing to relocate to British Columbia, Canada</li><li>Able to meet Canadian immigration and work permit requirements</li></ul> <h2>What You'll Get</h2><ul><li>$36.60 CAD per hour</li><li>40 hours per week</li><li>Full-time, year-round employment</li><li>LMIA and work permit support from the employer</li><li>Medical and financial benefits</li><li>Training and career advancement opportunities</li><li>Supportive, team-focused culture</li></ul> <h2>Required Documents</h2>Candidates who move forward should be prepared to provide:<ul><li class="ql-indent-1">Valid passport</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Updated resume/CV with detailed roofing work history</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Proof of secondary/high school education</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Employment letters or other documents verifying previous roofing experience</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Contact information for previous employers/references</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Roofing, construction, safety, or trade certificates (if applicable)</li></ul>Previous employment and roofing experience must be verifiable.
